Melonball
Fast, technical and politically-charged punk rock with sharp riffs, detailed and intense drum work, and strong melodies – all driven by an unmistakable voice of the lead singer. MELONBALL have a solid place in the international punk scene. With appearances at festivals like Ruhrpott Rodeo, Manchester Punk Festival, Mighty Sounds, Mission Ready, Punk Rock Holiday, and Music 4 Cancer, they’ve become known for their tight live performances and high- energy shows. Along the way, they’ve shared stages with scene staples such as Lagwagon, Bad Cop Bad Cop, A Wilhelm Scream, Authority Zero, Belvedere, ZSK and Satanic Surfers. Their tour history, with around 40 shows per year, shows a steady presence on stages across Europe and beyond. Highlights include a UK tour in 2023, a ten-date run through Eastern Canada in 2024, and tours alongside The Iron Roses, Authority Zero, Belvedere and Satanic Surfers. Their debut album BREATHE was released in March 2023 via Thousand Islands Records (USA/CAN) and Lockjaw Records (UK), followed by the acoustic EP eup•nea in April 2024. Their second full-length album “Take Care” will be released early 2026 via Thousand Islands Records (CAN) and Rookie Records (GER). In 2025, the band won the GUNDA Pop Culture Award.
